That's a "too late in the day" one.

The atmosphere is rotating as well (otherwise we would have some wicked winds at the surface). The rotation of the earth has many effects on the atmosphere, but the earth isn't rotating underneath you.

Since it is late in the day, I jumped as high as I could while in my office, and the wall did not rotate into me while I was in the air.
