The shorter the flight, the crappier the service/product seem to be.

Bos-jfk is what? a 45 minute flight? FAs usually have a lot of things to do within this short period of time and you really can't expect too much.

I've flown jetblue from LGB-OAK which is an one hour flight but the direct tv worked wonderfully and FAs were professional.

You actually were getting a better product on the EMB--your seats were wider at almost 18 vs the A320 17 and you only had 1 seat mate.

Seriously though, think about the service you've had with UX/UA one hour flights and compared that with jetblue.

Next time you fly a long haul flight, try jetblue (or Song ), I think you will be happy
