I think I'd just post it anyway. It's not that far to Dubai, and it's not that close to Christmas. I think the "last posting dates" are conservative, at least I've always treated them as such and have gotten away with it, but I've not sent to Dubai. How long would a letter normally take? Can't be more than a few days, surely?
