Depends what your looking for.
Gamba (http://www.gamba.co.uk/) is excellent for seafood.. mind you, prob not the kind of place to go if your looking for a boozy night out with Uni mates

Previous post of ubiqitous chip in Ashton Lane would be a good bet as lots of bars a step away....
