If expedia don't get their act together, fear not, they'll sort it out in the airport. They just need to associate the e-ticket number with the booking, and ticket desk can do this.
HOWEVER, it makes life a lot easier if your SO can be armed and ready with the e-ticket number in question, as the agent will be able to display it straightaway, and link it up to the pnr. If not, BA will run a search for the etkt, using his FQTV card.
In any event, he's very very very unlikely to get bumped.
As for OLCI, I think you're just going to have to live without it....
