Yeah, I see your point (now). The airlines should be more particular about who they climb into bed with! On the other hand, Delta has actually given me miles that partners cheated me out of, after Delta became convinced that I was getting a raw deal. In other words, they took responsibility for a lousy partner's bad performance. But it shouldn't be necessary in the first place.
