Thought about it, but I wanted to keep these Vegas jaunts simple, easy and above all quick (same-day returns), knowing I was sacrificing some extra miles in the doing.

Oh, I completely agree. I have had a passport since 1970 and have been horizon expanding more than Edwin Hubble ever since. I'm already booked on roundtrips to CDG and LGW in '06. That's 8298 and 7526 EQMs respectively. And I am still kicking around OnePass Offer 58037 to CGN, and Offer 58019 to CPH. Plus, on the domestic side, I'm going for a long weekend in HNL, also in '06. That's a sweet 10,016 EQMs from CLE.
