Oceanbound222 we have very different perceptions of Tel Aviv. I absolutely loved the city and commented to others that it was a city I could see myself settling in for a long period of time.

Don't know what part of the city you were in because where I was, it was not ugly - it was typical Middle East architecture. Attractive in its own way. I also found the people to be nothing but friendly and helpful.

Based on your last comment, are you of Arab origin? Just wondering if that would make someone's experience different?
