Good news. Thanks for the update. Reading between the lines of the
CNN story, it looks like Samsung threw its weight behind Korean Air to convince the government to end the strike. KE's strike ended after just 3 days (subject to another walkout 30 days from now), whereas OZ's lasted 30.
I'm not flying KE this holiday season, but a friend is on a DL-issued RTW itinerary that includes several KE flights to and from Australia and New Zealand. Since DL's pilots reached a "tentative interim" agreement with management, we're breathing a bit easier today.
