You are supposed to earn full mileage on any BA flight (codeshare with QF or otherwise) between the UK or Germany and Australia, the UK or Germany and Singapore, Bangkok or Hong Kong, or between Singapore, Hong Kong or Bangkok and Australia.
Sorry Alex0683de, but that (in shorthand) is what I said ! That was why I wrote "and in the days when flying BA in Discount Economy to Oz only got 25% of miles flown...", cos today it does not work like this anymore (i.e. it is not now 'in the days when' !). You used to get 25% on all BA flights as a QF FF, not there are some exceptions where you get 100% (on the BA-QF JSA routes) - and this of course applies to all flights on the way to Oz from Europe too, which inc.s flight to SIN on BA/QF codeshares.

As the change to 100% has been widely discussed here, in a few Threads on a few occasions (I started a Thread on it even - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...ghlight=status !) I didn't think I needed to write more than the shorthand that was my post, but as the OP is a newbie I'm sure he will find the additional info/clarification you posted of use.

And my BA e.g. was just to illustrate for the OP how codeshares can work, and why what airline code appears on your ticket matters for mileage earning etc etc, so am sure you were not trying to suggest anything different to that were you.
