All good advice - thanks. I had forgotten about Emirates: at present I am thinking of: (all incl. tax & p.p.)

QF: SYD-BNE $102 AUD
QF: BNE-ADL $181 AUD
QF: ADL- SYD $171 AUD

NZ: SYD-AKL rtn $615 NZD

This seems okay, esp. the Australian legs but, wow, sticker shock at the taxes/surcharges across the Tasman.

Many thanks for your assistance & that of others. I am looking forward to visiting Aus again after many years of just doing US-NZ runs.
