Im currently booked on dec 24th from lga to mia. my booking class is V. I was thinking about changing my flight to the 22nd. I called AA customer service 3 times and have gotten 3 different answers. Is there any way to figure out what the real price to change this flight would be? I was told one time $100 change fee plus the difference in the fare down which would be another $87. Then i called again and they told me i have to price an all new trip which is around $1400 plus $100 change fee but maybe i can get the $25 change fee??? Im actually taking a multi leg trip from lga-mia-bos-lga. If i changed my down trip to JFK or to FLL, would it help my odds? Any help is appreciated. thanks
