I want to spend some of my Alaska miles and I am considering booking an award flight on BA in Business Class to Europe.

What do you recommend -- how far in advance should one book it to have a realistic chance of availability of the requested dates?

Is there some way online to check what availability looks like at certain dates? Or do I have to call the Award Reservation # ?
