Ok, well after passing the regular domestic security clearance, the first thing you see on your left are stairs going down to the underground tunnel towards gates 40-46...

If you take your second left, you will see a new hallway that takes you towards gates 47+. These are the new gates. 47-48-49 are domestic use only, but 50-51-52 can be swing gates as they could accomodate domestic/international arrivals/departures. Now if I'm not mistaken, there's a security guard around gate 49 verifying boarding passes and making sure domestic passengers don't cross over the international side... (because of duty free). So I'm assuming that security guard changes position every day since it all depends which gates are used for which flights....
I haven't been to that side of the airport much to tell you the truth. We only recently have we started using gates 50+, so when I get back to work in 2 weeks I'll have a better idea.


Just curious, which program?
Civil Eng... I was always interested in operations, systems analysis and some transport...did a minor in management too...
