Another vote for Burlingame. Definitely great shopping and restaurants, extremely safe, upscale town as opposed to SSF or Millbrae.

Check out the beautiful, recently remodeled Arts and Crafts style Burlingame Public Library, which is just off the main shopping/eating drag...
