I love the ability to use an e-ticket and electronically check-in.
However, I have traveled out of E-concourse (ATL) several times and had to return to the gate agent for a cardstock boarding pass when the boarding agent would not accept the ticket("I've never seen these"). (Obviously, even with a ticket in FC this limits overhead bin space)
They feel very flimsy. Why can't they use a cardstock?
I dislike the ID part, but I use the kiosk to check in, and then proceed to the gate. if the line is short, I exchange for a "real" boarding pass. So far, it appears that the agents appreciate my exchanging the boarding pass.
