As a *G me and my wife should get access to these lounges even when flying in Y right? So in a way its me + 1 thats allowed?
Can't help you too much with the honeymoon advice (well done by the way) but the lounge question is pretty easy:
Queenstown has just the one lounge, its upstairs and pretty adequate - nice views of the apron, full range of drinks - don't remember any snacks. Make sure at check-in you ask for the door code as its an unmanned lounge.
At PPT NZ use a kind of generic lounge, although they put a 'NZ' sign on the door - not sure if its a *G lounge though -- you may need an invitation from check-in or the transit staff - when I was last there they had a list of passengers, or an invitation was needed. Its not a huge lounge, just as nice as the rest of the terminal really but with free drinks and small cheeses etc.
AKL lounges have been covered here before - both domestic and international nice and large with good food and drink selection, particularly compared with what else is on offer outside the lounges (most of the food at AKL terminals is ropey and best avoided)
Only ever done Intl lounge at CHC - its not huge (think BD business lounge at MAN size) but a nice view and they put on a breakfast-type spread amongst the drinks. Usually just staffed by one person who is extremely friendly and will want to chat with you about your travels...
