I'm off to Singapore on Jan 8 - 10. A couple of questions:

1. Will there be anything going on on Sunday night?

2. Thinking about staying at the Scarlet or Hotel 1929. Both are in Chinatown area. I see that Scarlet already has some good reviews, but was wondering if anyone is familiar w/ Hotel 1929.
