I have ordered the cold seafood dinner in both first class and coach and there is a difference in the quality of the seafood. Also, overall quality depends on the caterer at the airport and the same menu items are not necessarily on all full meal flights from the same departure city. From HNL, in first, I've had chilled lobster medallions and nice-size cocktail shrimp. From ATL I once had smoked salmon rosettes and crabmeat salad. Whenever I requested hot seafood I have always been served baked salmon - no lobster. Never requested a special meal in international Bizelite because their standard courses are pretty decent.

In coach, cold seafood has always meant shrimp cocktail with smaller-sized shrimp accompanied usually by crabmeat cocktail. For some reason, the dessert is always different from other coach meals.

As to a veggie meal, never asked one but I would assume the quality would be higher in first than coach.

Have a good flight.
