The reason was to allow for the inclusion of more popular splits, such as tonic water, sprite, diet coke etc. If you have been given it recently it was obtained from club/first. If a fare paying passenger comes and asks politely for something as trivial as a Bitter Lemon, I would get it with pleasure. I might ask if we could pour it in the galley and bring it back so as not to draw attention - but really - that is so sloppy. Sitting watching vidoes and not even bothering to go and look. I think that you had a crew at the end of a B2B - and that is not a sufficient excuse in my book.
