Also this situation seems to be very much focused on the US markets. In Europe people do not seem to have this problem with suspensions. With charge cards, we still have a exposure limit, which is adjusted according the previous months but I have never heard that AMEX had suspended any accounts. Or then Europeans just don't announce this issue in the forums :-)
