Great info Eastwest. Thanks ! I am wondering who coordinates ITB transfers. My sister flew SEA to LAX to HKG a couple years ago, but somehow her bags didn't get transferred from AS to CX at LAX even though her bags were checked through with ITB tags. Luckily she got her bags 4 days later, and they were a mess inside.
