Well it would be super convenient for you for Ojai. But you're about 45 minutes from Santa Barbara and even longer to Solvang and still further for Santa Maria.
So I'd say it theoretically
could be a base of operations. But I'd probably only recommended it if you absolutely need a Starwood for some reason, as it will mean a whole lot of driving back and forth for you.
