Last time I checked, for high season, C Class return AMS-BKK-AMS was 1999 Euro plus tax, D Class around 1599 plus tax. You need 30 000 miles for upgrade Y to C for all long haul routes now, 40 000 for C to A (non blackout dates). I strongly doubt they will sell you a one way upgrade from D to C especially after ticketing.
