The popultation of the UK is getting increasingly diverse (allegedly more languages spoken in London than NYC now) but rather than morph everything into some anonymous 'Holiday' season we clearly celebrated each festival. Early November is especially fun in NW6 as the Guy Fawkes celebrations crossover into Diwali. Firework heaven!

As Aviatrix says, the 'Happy Holidays' thing creates a degree of amusement here.
