I have found my jobs through the Mystery Shopping Providers Association: http://www.mysteryshop.org/
You can do a search for the companies that operate in your area, and then you have to register with the companies individually. I had a job on Saturday last weekend where I had to check out a King Kong credit card booth at a movie theater. It took me about 15 minutes total (not including driving -but I took the job because I had to go to a store across the street anyway) and I will get paid $15.
