ORLANDO, Fla. -- AirTran Holdings Inc.'s (AAI) AirTran Airways airline added new nonstop service from Chicago Midway International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport and Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.
In a press release Tuesday, the company said the new service includes four daily nonstop flights between Chicago Midway and Minneapolis/St. Paul, as well as three daily nonstop flights between Chicago Midway and Boston.
AirTran said all new flights are served by its Boeing Co. (BA) 717 aircraft.
Shares of the company traded recently at $14.93, up 46 cents, or 3.2%, on volume of 1.7 million shares. Average daily volume is 1.8 million shares.
