Earlier this year, I had booked FLL - MCO - ATL to pick up an exrta segment on the way home. Mechanical problems forced me to take a non-stop FLL - ATL. When I got home, I sent an e-mail to Delta asking them to credit the segments I should have flown. They did so within days. Apparently, I broke the rules as did Delta by crediting my account. I hope the RPU doesn't come after me.
