Another under-used security checkpoint is the one at the end near the H/G gates. When you're facing the check-in counters, turn to the right, and walk to the end counters. (Look for the big sign that says "Do Not Enter"...it's referring to some revolving doors, but I think it does a great job keeping people away from the security checkpoint.) There are two metal detectors, and seldom more than 4 or 5 people in line. You'll come out in front of Starbucks and the walkway to the G concourse.
