At least you haven't suffered this indignity...while flying Greyhound (WN), I get in the B line and make sure I'm at the front so I can get an aisle seat. Then the LAST guy in the A line has a B boarding card, and the WN gate agent says "You really should be in the other line, but go ahead." How obnoxious. Why not send him to the back of the B line where he belonged? What incentive do people have to follow the rules if the punishment for breaking them is to be rewarded?

I'm with you. They should have sent the family packing to the back of the other line.
