Thumbs up E+, upgrades that actually clear, Ch 9 - the trip trifecta?

Just a quick summary of my weekend flying:
LAX-EWR redeye: Put in for upgrade, but knew it was hopeless on the A320. Was perfectly content once I took my seat in 6A. Tons and tons of room - seemed like more than in F! You gotta love E+.
IAD-EWR: Part of my itin that I turned into a mini-MR. Flight was delayed a little due to mechanical on the jungle jet. Once in the air, I could tell the pilots had the thing floored to make up for lost time. It was a VERY gusty day in NJ, and the approach was better than Star Tours. When the plane was about 100' above the runway and bouncing like a superball, I was convinced I was about to experience my first go-around. Pilot did a superb job getting us on the ground - kicking the rudder pedals and making a smooth landing out of a bunch of garbage.
EWR-DEN: Upgrade cleared. Sweeeeet. Very nice service in F - it seemed like all the FA's were in the F cabin, I almost wondered who was back in Y. Almost. Nice meal, pretty good wine, Channel 9, and the lights of the USA beneath us. I was enjoying myself.
DEN-OAK: A320 seat 6F. Again, this is the row to get, gang. I'm 6'2", and I could barely touch the bulkhead.

As of June 2005, I had but a couple segments on WN for the year, and a somewhat disjointed idea of how to be a semi-frequent flyer. Then I stumbled upon FT, and now I'm a UA 1P (after the 2x miles post, anyway.) This is the best community on the web, so Thanks FTers, I could not have done it without'cha.
