Yes I was upgraded DFW-MIA as EXP domestic even though was already VIPed for the segment (a little messy but OT and was upgraded so who cares), I guess I got lucky on that segment.
Again my my question before I contact EXP desk to requal myself @ 99,760M is the following: When I made the reservation it shows GIG-GRU as a separate segment with 210 miles it does not show as GIG-JFK with an asterisk that it will stop in GRU unless AA.com assumes you are an expert FT'er you cannot assume that short segment does not count. BTW where in the COC (or aadvantage rules) does it say that a single flight number is not considered multiple segments.
Again I want the maximum knowledge before contacting the desk. I don't have more AA flying planned for the year.... though I am quite optimistic in my negotiating abilities to requal
