I've been looking at some with noise-canceling features (btw thanks for the opinions in this forum) but don't want to invest in them if I can get an effective set for free during the flights.
In a related question, how are the DVD players they have available on the 767's?
Hello, and welcome to FT.
In terms of noise reduction headsets, the general agreement on the FlyerTalk boards is that if you really want this buy the BOSE.
I don't know about the DVD players- do they have these??? I have seen the personal video players which use super 8 cassettes- but DVD- no- probably because of power. I am always sleeping or working on the plane- will leave it to other fters to advise if indeed personal dvd players are available but have never seen them personally....maybe I have missed something?
