I agree whole-heartedly- and am not sure as to why the staff have taken a position of borderline hostility- the only hypothesis which seems to be true is that there is probably a big cultural change going on within the "ahem" merger and as a result there is staff backlash. The onboard service- particularly on the Asia 747 longhauls- is still quite friendly however. AMS is not a friendly place for the traveller now though- it boggles my mind that the day would ever come where I PREFER FRA- but...it is true. I am not sure who the target customer of the new improved more generous by nature airline is- but it certainly isn't you or I based on the feedback on this board!
