Going home for break, I have a connection in DFW on December 17th for about an hour before heading on home to Chicago O'Hare. How feasible is it for me to try to extend my stay in DFW so I can have lunch with family who live within minutes of DFW? What kind of flexibility will I have on getting on a later DFW-ORD flight? Is this something where I would want to do a confirmed standby, or is this something that the Admiral's Club in DFW should be able to take care of for me? Any assistance would be appreciated... I've never really tried to mess with an itinerary with connections before.
