Not sure how much they require them. I have mailed in claims without BPs before and gotten the miles posted. Atleast this works on SK flights, as they have full access to the system.
On partner flights I would be more careful and post as much information as possible. One thing they would like to see with the boarding pass is if it has printed some reference to another FFP to prevent double-miles.
