Hi....I travel to HKG 5-6 times per year and in my experience, they al charge that or more including Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, etc.

To avoid it, I have used wireless hotspots in locations like the HK Convention Center and AOL's international access numbers (dial up but cheap).
