no, the dtv channels are slaved to one ch and one ch only in the "head end".
Each DTV ch has its own rcvr and those outputs are fed onto the channel lineup you see in the room.

That DTV rcvr(as you know) has its own serial number as well as a card that has its own acct number. The two are married together and are allowed to receive one channel only. All other channels are just dtv commercials.

So for as many DTV ch's you see their are that many rcvrs.
The most I have seen is about 30 Ch at the new Hilton in Anaheim.
