there have been some latitude fares as well though. Also when you go YUL - YYZ - YVR - HNL - YVR - YYZ - YUL instead of going YUL - YVR - YUL it can make a big difference as well When they had the COS bonus for upgrades you could get 13,208 miles for just under 1800 dollars, and that was all in J confirmed at time of booking
