First time ever I get status with an airline
, but after doing a search in this forum, other than the 25% bonus, and getting on the airplane earlier, there is not much to it
First you get preferred seating always. That means closer to the front or an exit row seat. Not bad. Second - early boarding means overhead space, a big plus for me. Third - if you get stuck paying full fare you can upgrade at booking on most airlines including I think Delta. Fourth, I get upgrades our of SDF and CVG most of the time (am gold but my son who is silver also has good luck out of CVG). So if your flying mostly on poplular routes from major airports upgrades may be scarce, but not elsewhere.
Anyhow, congrats on silver.
