I believe Southwest does allow you to change the name of the passenger on the return leg of a roundtrip ticket. Whether they would allow the person to actually sell the second half of a ticket is debatable.

All other airlines, however, will not change the name on a ticket, and so the "buyer" would not be able to take the return trip.
