Nope, I'm on contract with T-Mobile and when I got the current phone I boisterously expressed how much I loved the GU-87 but AT&T wireless coverage in NYC was awful and that I needed a world phone that would work in most countries. I got a phone that was unlockable after 3 months on contract which is what saved me in Prague. I was able to swap out my SIM but anyone calling my NYC number couldn't reach me. I want to retire my Motorola and just use for travel for above stated purposes. I like being reachable but I do not like paying those exhorbant international roaming charges.
