really? I thought T-Mo have agreements with the various countries to ROAM... is it just a security thing? I always buy prepaid anyways... it's cheaper
I was just in Prague where they actually have T-Mobile and my phone would not pick up the network. I have the WorldClass feature on my phone so not sure what the issue was. I ended up just getting a cheap Oskar SIM. One of the reasons I want a non-service provider phone is so I'm not tied just to T-Mobile or Cingular here in NYC. I LOVED my panasonic phone but when I made the service switch AT&T wireless would not unlock it. They also only carried that phone for 1 year. I had paid $300 for it and only got 1 year's worth of use out of it. T-Mobile doesn't have many options in world phones and I think Motorola phones are stinkers.
