I'm taking a Philippine Airlines (biz class) flight to MNL this Xmas and wondered about taking my laptop - I seem to remember there not being much in the way of inflight entertainment last time I flew with them.

Our flight looks like it's going to be a (presumeably old) 747-400 rather than the A340 - we're up in the bubble though.

Does anyone know if all PAL biz class seats on this type of aircraft have power outlets and if so, what to get to keep my Dell 600m going for most of the flight.

I'd like to get some kind of universal adapter so that my wife can use it afterwards - she spends a lot of her time travelling with UAL for business.
