The SBA version includes an accounting program designed to combat Quickbooks and like software. I have not used it and thus I cannot comment on the program.

The other programs (Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Word, etc.) are the same. Unless you need the accounting software there is no need to purchase this edition.

You mentioned Office Pro. The only difference between Office SBE and Office Pro is Microsoft Access. Unless you need it there is no reason to spend the extra dough.

Either package will run on any version of XP whether it be Home or Pro.

If you happen to get this software as part of a new system make sure they provide you with the CDs or DVDs.
