I have a fully flexible J class ticket ZRH-LHR-DME-LHR-ZRH, booked on ba.com online.
Flew ZRH-LHR and need to change the rest.
Went into MMB and the option to change the flights is greyed out.
Call BA, and they put to me on hold for 5 minutes to "check the rules of the ticket"
Came back and made the changes. I asked why I couldn't do it on line. Answer - "because you've flown the first leg". Huh ?
Then I ask, am I all set now? "Oh no, sir. You have to get your e-ticket revalidated. I have to send it to another department. It will take a few days!"
What if I wanted to travel tomorrow?? I couldn't ?? Even if I have a full fare ticket?? This is stupid. My travel agent can revalidate an eticket in a minute. Why does BA sent it to another department for 3 days??
