Very interesting. What do you mean by the "signature" on the Etys? Perhaps I'm not familiar with audio terms.

What didn't you like about the UE-5's? Anything you can explain in words?

I hadn't seen the Westones before -- thanks. (I love my Etys ER-4Ss, so I'm unlikely to switch anytime soon, but it's interesting to learn how they compare and watch to see if there is anything worth upgrading to.)
