Also on the same trip to South Africa, we were stuck on the plane at the gate for 3 hours at JNB for a flight to DUR because of lightning. The air con on the plane failed and the humidity was oppressive. They opened the doors to try to get some cool air into the plane. The airline was kululu.com, which is trying to be the Southwest Airlines of South Africa.
