So, yes you are doing quite well. You should not have mentioned it here though. I am sure AC will assign a dozen employees the task of identifying and closing your loophole.

Well, I'd have to say that there are a lot of bottom feeders out there. If Rupert wants to take my hard earned money, that is fine. I will go out on a limb here and say that many people (especially toptier) are privy to their status because their fares (ranging from tango plus to J) are paid in part or in whole by 'non-personal' accounts. This is on my tab and I am looking for the best deal with a return (in this case status). Business clients are what AC wants and of course that is what they market to - I'll make due with that and utilize AC for my personal means.
And in terms of identifying me, I am sure they could have done that a long time ago using my profile - how many people from of all places frequent Dublin on a consistent basis? I am in a club by myself!
The loophole is that the volume of traffic to Ireland from Canada is small so fares to Ireland cost less than to LHR (even though you usually have to go through LHR to get to DUB).
(loophole edit) AC can try to bring these fares up, but I doubt that BD as their carrying partner who values their DUB-LHR route would let them if they tried. Ireland again is a route that is not as well travelled from Canada but it is one that is needed and should be maintained. It will stay cheap as it's proportion of travellers from Canada are on vacation to the Emerald Isle compared to those for example headed to LHR.
