This is not a hotel where you worry about Platinum upgrades. They have very few suites and in my experience all the other rooms are about the same.
I think that the best that they can and will ever do for you is put you on the same floor as the Lounge (and that is only the fourth floor anyhow), so don't let that factor into your thinking.
